Soup and Pie Fundraiser (April)


Each spring, the library holds its annual Soup & Pie fundraiser (usually the second Saturday in April) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a raffle for a goodie basket full of great items. This page will be updated in advance of the next fundraiser. The nex fundraiser will be April 13, 2024 from 11-1 p.m..

Come on down and dine in, drive up, or carry out. The cost is $7.00 for a meal which includes a delicious bowl of homemade soup, cornbread, oyster crackers, water, and a slice of pie. Additional servings (or single servings) of soup can be purchased for $5.00 each and a slice of pie for $3.00 each—or you can be really decadent and carry-out a second meal for your supper! Coffee will also be available. Children 5 and under are free. Come help make this library fundraiser a great success while you visit with your friends and neighbors. You might even meet new neighbors and make new friends! 


While you’re at the library, take a chance on the “Family Fun” raffle basket at $1 per ticket or 6 for $5. Raffle tickets may also be purchased ahead of time at the library in the weeks leading up to the Soup & Pie event.

Patrons of Palermo Community Library may become patrons of Bangor Public Library to have access to Flipster, download e-books and all other services of being a BPL patron. Please visit PCL to complete an application and receive a barcode number to become a patron of BPL. Please bring one form of I.D.
