Palermo Community Library

Mission: Being a welcoming space and information center for the community

Hand Crafters Group - Wednesdays 1-3 p.m.

Are you interested in gathering with others to work on your favorite arts and crafts? Good news! A new Hand Crafters group has formed at the Library! The primary goal is to provide some social time during the long winter months as well as time and space to work on your arts and crafts projects. Knit, crochet, wool felt, hand spin, quilt, paper piece, make jewelry, draw, paint or work on any other portable creative project ...  whatever art or craft project gets you going is welcome. By not limiting the group to a specific creative art or craft, it will serve to introduce us all to new activities in the fiber arts and beyond. The group will not have formal teaching sessions, but it can serve as an introduction to new crafts by observation, sharing, and informal instruction.

We meet in the Library Community Room on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 pm. All are welcome! Depending on interest, we may offer one Saturday afternoon each month as well. Suggestions are welcome for arts and crafts to include. Please join us!
