"Second Saturday" Events

The library likes to hold regular events, called "Second Saturday" events, for the general public. Here is the schedule:

January - Jammin' January - 1 p.m. - Bring your instruments and come jam with our local bluegrass band. 

February - Board Game Day - 1 p.m. - Bring your family and friends and your favorite board game.

March - No activity. Consider attending the town meeting at the Palermo Consolidated School at 9 a.m.

April - 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Soup and Pie Social. Come for food and fellowship and help the library raise much-needed funds.

May - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Make and Take Bookmarks - Make a bookmark to take home or trade with others.

June - 1 p.m. - Volunteer Recognition - All volunteers and their families are invited to be recognized for the work they do to keep the library running. Food will be served.

July - No activity. Consider attending the annual meeting on the second Sunday at 2 p.m. Refreshments wlll be served, and speaker will be featured.

August - No activity. Consider attending Palermo Days beginning with a parade at 10 a.m.

September - To be determined.

October - Artist Trading Card Day - Create a miniature work of art to keep or trade with others. More information can be found here. 

November - 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Chili Social - Come for food and fellowship and help the library raise much-needed funds.

December - No activity. Happy holidays!
